Use Combi deals

To start using the Combi deal in the POS, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the unTill Air app on your screen.

  2. Create any order.

  3. Order a Combi deal from the Department it is assigned to.

  4. Select one item from each line within the Combi deal.

Note: When ordering a Combi deal, you can only apply mandatory Modifiers; optional Modifiers are not permitted.

  1. When you are completing the order, you will notice that the Articles included in the Combi deal are listed in the order along with the price you specified.

  2. Now, you can proceed to finish the order.

Note: If the 'Suggest a missing article' function is activated in the Back Office, prompts offering to complete the Combi deal will appear when you order Articles that are part of existing Combi deals.

Change a selected Combi deal item

If the customer changes their mind and wants to order another Combi deal item, you can select another Article within a Combi deal.

Note: You cannot change a Combi deal item after confirming the order.

To change a selected Combi deal item, please follow these steps:

  1. Create an order with a Combi deal.

  2. Order all Combi deal items.

  3. Tap on the Combi deal item in the order list.

  4. You will see ordered Articles in the column 'Options'.

  5. Tap on the Article you would like to change.

  6. Select another Article from those that appear in this column.

Complete a deferred Combi deal

While ordering in the POS, you can defer completing a Combi deal, allowing the customer to continue considering their options. As a POS User, you can confirm this partial order and serve other tables while the kitchen prepares the already ordered dishes.

Later, you can return to the incomplete Combi deal and finalise it.

To complete a deffered Combi deal, please follow these steps:

  1. Create an order with a Combi deal.

  2. Order the Combi deal item but do not order one of them.

  3. Click 'Ok'.

  4. Confirm the order by tapping

  5. Tap on this table again.

  6. Double tap on the Combi deal in the order list.

  7. Order the Combi deal items that you have not ordered yet.

You cannot click 'Checkout' and proceed with this order until you complete the Combi deal. If there is an incomplete Combi deal and you tap on the 'Checkout' button, a pop-up displaying the Combi deal items that have not yet been ordered will appear.

Order Combi deal with the 'Suggest a missing article' feature

  1. Create an order including one of the Articles incorporated into the Combi deal.

  2. Once you order this Article, you will see the pop-up with the suggestion to make a Combi deal.

  3. Click 'Ok'.

  4. Select other items for this Combi deal.

The Combi deal is ordered successfully using the 'Suggest missing article' feature.
