In unTill Air, you can use the Reasons to be aware of the causes for Discounts and Voids. The Reasons will be reflected in the reports within the Back Office such as Discounted articles report and Voids report.

The Reasons that are applied in the POS can be either preconfigured or custom. In the Back Office, you can create the frequent Reasons and they will become visible as an option for the POS User when they are going to apply Discount or perform Void.

Also, the POS User can enter the custom one instead of the preconfigured Reason. To learn more on how to use the Reasons including the custom ones, refer to this page.

If you want to avoid having the POS user select or type a Reason every time a Discount is applied, you can set an automatic Reason while creating the Discount. This Reason will then always be used whenever the corresponding Discount is applied.
