Tap to Pay hasn't been enabled
When this error pops up, this means that your device has not been set to accept transactions directly thanks to the Tap to Pay feature. To resolve this error and start accepting payments directly in the unTill Air app, please check the following:
Check that your device is in lign with the following requirements:
For Android devices:
Android version 11
NFC reader
For iPhones:
Phone XS or newer
If your device is not in line with these requirements, unfortunately you cannot start accepting payments directly in the app with Tap to Pay. You can use another device supporting the requirements mentioned above to get started with Tap to Pay.
Check whether unTill Payments is activated and set up for your location. Tap to Pay can be only used when your location is connected to unTill Payments. Read more about how to enabled unTill Payments here.
Check whether you have the latest version of the unTill Air app on the App Store or Google Play. We recommend to keep your app always updated to the latest version available in the store.
Check whether your NFC (Near-field communication) reader has been enabled on your device in the settings of your smartphone or tablet. If it hasn't been enabled yet, please make sure to enable it.
On some devices, it might be necessary to grant rights to use the NFC reader. Check your device's specific requirements towards this if none of the steps above wasn't helpful for you.
If you're still struggling with enabling Tap to Pay on your device after going through all the steps above, please get in touch with your reseller about this issue. We will make sure to find a solution for this problem.
