Who can use this feature?

When you use unTill Air POS, new versions of the app may become available. When a new version is released, you will receive a pop-up notification when you access the POS, prompting you to update to the latest version.

There are three types of updates that you may see:

  1. Optional update

An optional update is indicated by a 'New version available' pop-up and usually includes minor improvements and bug fixes. Updating is recommended so you can benefit from the latest enhancements. However, you can continue using the current version and update at a later time.

  1. Special optional update

A special optional update includes a yellow warning message informing you that future updates will become mandatory to ensure full functionality and access to new features. You can continue using the app for now, but updating will become required in the future to ensure everything continues to work as expected. We recommend updating as soon as possible.

  1. Mandatory update

A mandatory update displays a blocking pop-up because the update is required to continue using the app. It includes important changes to help keep the app running smoothly and securely. Please update the app to continue.
