Who can use this feature?

✅POS Users

This feature allows the POS Users to enter the price for the Article manually in the POS. Only the prices of the Articles designated in the Back Office as Articles with the 'Open price' can be set by POS Users.

The 'Open price' feature can be enabled in the Back Office on the page for creating or editing an Article. When you are editing or creating a new Article, tick the checkbox 'Open price' provided to activate this feature.

When the corresponding checkbox in the Back Office is checked, a pop-up with a numeric keypad will appear for the POS User each time they order an Article designated as an 'Open price' Article.

Note: When you create a Menu or a Combi deal, and assign the Article with the open price feature activated, you cannot enter the open price when you order it from this Menu or Combi deal as Menus always have predefined prices for each Article and Combi deals always have predefined prices for a set of Articles.

To order an Article and enter the price for this in the POS, please follow these steps:

1. Open the unTill Air app.

2. Create an order.

3. Order the Article designated as 'Open price' Article.

4. You will see the pop-up with a numeric keypad, enter the desired price.

Note: If the price field for an 'Open price' Article has been filled out in the Back Office, the POS User will initially see the price as indicated there but will have the ability to modify it.

1. Tap on the green button to confirm.

Now, the manually entered price is applied to an Article.
