Let's consider typical situations and solutions for using Courses based on customer preferences.
The customer has finished the dishes from the previous Course, therefore, and the POS User needs to notify the kitchen staff to serve the next Course.
To signal the next Course to be served and print the relevant ticket, you need:
Create an order that includes multiple Courses;
Confirm this order using ✅button;
Now, the 2nd table is highlighted in red (can be other colours), indicating that the starter is being served here.
Tap on the Fire next course button located in the top right corner of the page;
Select a table for Fire next course;
The colour of the 2nd table has been changed to yellow (can be other colours) to indicate that the Main dish course is being served here. The next course ticket is printed.
For details on how to use the Fire next course feature, refer to this page.
The customer has requested a modification to the usual serving order.
Note: You can change the Course for an Article only when the order with those Articles is not being confirmed yet. For details on the order confirmation, refer to this page.
