If the customer wants to receive a proforma before continuing to order or paying the bill, you can print it from the payment screen.
The proforma icon in the POS looks like this:
To print a proforma, please follow these steps:
Open the unTill Air app on your screen.
Create any order.
Tap 'Checkout'.
Tap 'Print proforma'.
The result will differ depending on whether your location has bill printers added to the Back Office or not:
If you don't have a bill printer in your location, a proforma will be displayed on your device in the form of a pop-up. Thus, you can show it on the screen to your customers.
If you have one bill printer added to your Back Office, a proforma will be issued on that printer without selecting it.
If you have several bill printers in the Back Office, you will be asked to select a printer to which you want to print this proforma. Here, you have the option to keep the printing choice to avoid constant selection of printers. For details, refer to this page.
After tapping on the proforma button and issuing a ticket, you will be immediately redirected to the Table plan screen.
The proforma has been issued, but there are no restrictions because of it. You can still transfer the table, order more articles, and split the bill.
Note: The proforma is issued on a bill printer, not on a preparation printer.
When a proforma is issued, its printing is indicated by a special icon on the table, allowing for easy tracking.
In the image below, you can see that the table marked with a euro sign indicates that a proforma has already been issued here.
Note: If you apply the Transfer table on the table with a proforma icon, the status of the table will be changed afterwards as well as while ordering other Articles on this table. The proforma icon will disappear.
