Who can use this feature?
The special price feature allows you to set different prices for the same articles across different spaces.
For example, if your business has different prices depending whether items are sold inside or at the pickup point, you can conveniently set it up via special price feature. By enabling this feature for a specific space and filling out prices for it, you can make sure that when your screen is assigned to this space, all the articles will be sold at price you specifically set for them, and this price may differ from usual.
Also, in such cases, when you want to set different price levels for the pickup point, you can enable the special price feature for a space where the direct sales area checkbox is selected. This way, you make sure, that your direct sales space (e.g. pickup point) will not be visible for screens that operate in other spaces such as 'inside', eliminating any possibility of mixing up prices intended for different spaces.
To set up the special price feature, please follow these steps:
Navigate to spaces in your Back Office.
Create a new space or edit an existing one by clicking on a 'gear' icon.
In the pop-up with settings, check the 'Special price' box.
Click 'Continue'.
To set special price for your articles, please follow these steps:
Navigate to Products > Articles in your Back Office.
Click 'Add new article' or edit an existing one by double-clicking on the article's line or using an 'edit' icon (pencil sign).
In the article editing form, click on the 'Set prices' button.
A new field for setting special price for the space will appear since you enabled this feature for one of the spaces.
Fill the desired price for this article in this field. This price will be applied when your screen is assigned to the space where special price is enabled.
When you're finished with setting prices, click 'Save'.
To assign your screen to the relevant space and start using special prices, please follow these steps:
Navigate to General > Equipment in your Back Office.
Edit an existing screen or add a new one. To edit, double-click on the screen's line or click on a 'pencil' icon. To add a new screen, click on the 'Add new equipment' button and select 'screens'.
Here, switch your screen to direct sales by clicking on the relevant tab and then select the space you enabled special price for (e.g. Pickup point):
Now, link your screen via a QR code or the button in the Back Office as explained in this article.
Once your screen is linked to the location, run your POS and you will see that articles for which you set special prices are sold in accordance with the settings in your Back Office.
Articles for which you haven't set any special price in the Back Office will be sold at a usual price which is in use across the entire location.
Location Owners
