In unTill Air, customers can split their bill and pay for their orders separately when settling the bill. The split can be performed in three ways:

Note: After the split and payment for at least one of the parts are processed, the rest amount must be also finalised. You cannot continue ordering without finishing all the payments for this order.

Note: Menu items and Combi deal items cannot be split by item. They can only be split into equal parts or considered as a whole, with all included articles. The split by payment parts is also allowed for the orders with Menus and Combi deals included.

To split the order, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the unTill Air app on your screen.

  2. Create any order.

  3. Click 'Checkout'.

  4. In the 'Payment options' section, select 'Split'.

Alternatively, if you need to split a bill by a targeted amount and pay for each part separately, you should tap on the 'Payment parts' tab.

  1. Select the method of splitting:

Here, you are able to select either split 'In equal parts' or 'By item'.

Split in equal parts

You can make a split by entering a number of parts.

  • Tap on 'In equal parts'

  • Enter the number of parts

  • You will see separate bills for each part as you indicated

  • Now, you can proceed with a payment for each of these parts in turn

Split by item

You can make a split by specific items.

  • Tap on 'By item'

  • Select specific items to be combined into one bill

To select specific items, tap on them.

  • Make a payment (choose the payment method) for the first combined bill containing the selected items

Another bill with previously unselected items will appear. You are able to split them once again by selecting some of the items within this bill.

  • Perform the same actions for the remaining items

  • Each part of the order will be paid using separate bills

Note: Partially paid orders cannot be split by item.

Split by payment parts

You can make a split targeting a specific amount. This means that if you wish to pay a certain amount using one payment method and settle the rest of the bill with another, this type of split can be used.

This way, you can, for example, let your customers pay 100 in cash and the rest by card if they want so, which is quite handy.

  • Tap on 'Payment parts'

  • On the numeric keypad that appears, enter the desired amount

  • The bill will be divided into different bills accordingly

  • Pay for these bills in turn

Split with repeated items

To split the bill with repeated items by item you need to perform additional actions:

  1. Double tap on the repeated Article.

  1. The numeric keypad will appear.

  2. Enter the desired quantity for this Article.

  3. This action will divide the quantity of the item into separate portions.

  4. Now, you can make a payment for each item separately.

Tip: Also you can first enter the desired quantity on the numeric keypad and then tap on the item. The indicated number of Articles will be selected.
