Sales modes

Distinctions between sales modes

In unTill Air, the sales modes within the Food & Drinks are categorised into two modes: Table plan and Direct sales. The difference between these two modes lies in their business purposes.

The Direct sales mode is intended for businesses that don't have tables and sell the products right away.

The Table plan mode is designed for businesses that serve dishes in the table area and can charge clients after a certain amount of time has passed.

Note: Within the Retail location type you have no ability to use two Sales modes, you work only with Direct Sales.

Direct sales mode

If your goal is to sell products without the need for a Space where tables are located and staff accommodates clients, the Direct sales mode is the most suitable option for you. This mode enables you to efficiently process orders without the necessity of table assignments.

Table plan mode

On the other hand, if you run a restaurant or Points of Sale with designated Spaces and tables, the Table plan mode is the ideal choice. This mode allows POS Users to create orders on the tables.

Screens for sales mode

To use the sales mode and access the POS, you must connect your screens to the location.
