Void is one of the most common POS actions because customers may often rethink their orders and request replacements.
The Void icon in the POS looks like this:
Note: To make a Void POS User must have access to do so. Location Owner has the ability to set access to the Void and 'Transfer table' in the POS User section in the Back Office. For more information, refer to this page.
During your work in the POS, there can be two basic scenarios that involve a Void:
Void during ordering
Void after confirming the order
Tap on the 'Void' button or swipe on the right side and the Articles will disappear from the order. You do not need to indicate the Void reason.
Tip: Location Owner can customise in the Back Office standard Reasons to simplify the work with Voids to POS Users. To learn more about the Reasons and how to manage and use them, refer to this page.
To make a Void, please follow these steps:
Open the unTill Air app on your screen.
Create any order.
Tap first on the item and then tap on the Void button.
Tip: You can make a Void much easier and quicker by swiping on the right side.
If a Void takes place after confirmation of the order, the POS User must indicate the Void reason to complete this action.
Tip: To void multiple identical Articles, you can use the numeric keypad. First, enter the number of Articles you wish to void. Then, tap on the specific Article and then use the 'Void' button.
