Discounts


Who can use this feature?

In unTill Air, Discounts are categorised into several types. Some of them can be configured in the Back Office and then applied in the POS, while others should be applied directly within the POS.

The Discounts can be either percent or amount. Also, the Discounts are divided into two types:

  • Selected items

When the POS User applies this Discount, only the selected Article will be discounted. To select the Article, the POS User should tap on the specific Article they need to apply Discount to and then tap on the corresponding Discount.

  • All items

When the POS User applies this Discount, all the Articles included in the order will be discounted.

While managing Discounts in the Back Office, you can set on which items this Discount will be applied. In the field 'Applies to' you need to select either 'All items' or specific Departments / Group / Course / Category.

Also, in the POS, you can apply Discounts that are not set in the Back Office. When the user applies a Discount on total, they indicate the amount to be discounted, this Discount is applied to the whole bill and is spread between all Articles in the order.
